Besides the first one, Carlo Alfredo Piatti added a piano accompaniment only to one other of the Six Suites for cello solo by Johann Sebastian Bach, his choice falling on the 4th one, in E-flat major.

His arrangement is fresh, sentimental, and never dull. The cello part included in this edition reflects Piatti’s performance choices, which are listed in the detailed Critical Notes.
