Dresden Cello School - Episode I - The Gravity around the Missing Star

This edition inaugurates a new line of publications, dedicated to the Dresden Cello School masters. This first episode is dedicated to Friedrich August Kummer (1797—18799 and to his Eight Grand Studies for Cello, with optional accompaniment of a second Cello, Op. 44, which were composed when Kummer was first solo cello at the Dresden Court Opera (1854—64).

This edition comes in two versions, Original & Collectors’ Edition.

The Original version contains the Urtext score and parts, is available for digital download right now and will be printed in Q1 2023.

The Collectors’ Edition contains, in digital download, the Urtext score and parts, the score and parts of the revision by Giuseppe Magrini, and the cello part of the revision by Jules Loeb.
